The Harmonies Story
When Dionne and Samantha crossed paths and met on the TikTok platform, they never imagined that within just six months life would take the turn that it has for them both. Read their individual stories below as written in their own words. Both stories reflecting the power of social media, friendship, loyalty, and all that can happen when two determined and passionate souls come together.

Hi!

My name is Dionne and I’m married to Paul and live in Cheshire.
I have a daughter and son and step-son with two grandchildren and a dog called Herbert.
I have been singing all my life but not professionally, I started at a young age singing in church and in amateur dramatics, where I was in many musicals. Last year I decided to join TikTok and posted a couple of videos of me singing, I then got contacted by an agency and met some great friends along with Sam. Sam helped me to go live on TikTok and grow my confidence, we then became a team and started up a platform together on TikTok called army of angels. Then we were contacted by another creator who wanted to put on a big event with TikTok performers.
Myself and Sam became directors of the event along with two other creators. The event called Rock the Mic 2025 is on 29th March 2025 at the viva in Blackpool.
While preparing for this event myself and Sam got the opportunity to sing a duet together and soon realised not only did we work well together but we sang well together. We have now decided to go forward with our duo act called “The Harmonies” and spread our love for music for all to hear. This has been a dream come true for me as not only do I get to sing but I also get to perform with a truly special person.

I am Samantha. I am a mum of two gorgeous girls, a dog mum to my pug pup Milo, and better half of my partner of 10 years. We live in the beautiful Southern Welsh countryside surrounded by beautiful hills and valleys.

I am also the second half of The Harmonies along with my beautiful fellow harmoniser Dionne, or D as I call her!

I first met D when I was a director for a TikTok agency and the moment I spotted a video of her singing she blew me away! I talked her into joining my agency and we instantly connected. The rest as they say is history!

Dionne and I coming together as a duo was totally unscripted and something we hadn't imagined possible before Rock the Mic 2025; but the moment our voices combined, there was a magic in the air and we knew this was it! Our new adventure - THE HARMONIES!!

Performing and music has always been my therapy through difficult losses and times in my life, so to do it beside my best friend and soul sister is an honour in which only the truly lucky are bestowed!
